In Utah, both the IC&RC and the NCC AP (NAADAC) test are offered for Licensure Qualification. You may select either test as both are accepted by DOPL for Licensure. The significant differentiation that you MUST keep in mind is as follows: If you elect to pursue Credentialing at a later date in your career you would be eligible for the Credentials issued only via the agency you tested, IC&RC or NAADAC. (example: you tested through AUSAP and have chosen IC&RC, then obtained your License from the State of Utah and some 5 years later elect to pursue a credential, you would have to apply for the Credential through IC&RC with these test results - NOT NAADAC and visa versa - UNLESS you take an additional test with NCC AP (NAADAC) and then you can credential with NAADAC)

The cost for the ADC, AADC (IC&RC), Level I and Level II (NCC AP) Testing is$185 for AUSAP/NAADAC members and $200 for non-members.

The cost for the CS (IC&RC), MAC (NCC AP) Testing is  $200 for AUSAP/NAADAC membersand $250 for non-members.

2015 IC&RC Testing

IC&RC Testing is “on demand” and provides immediate pass/fail results. Once registered, you will be provided a 60-day window to complete the test at your convenience.

2015 NCC AP (NAADAC) Testing

For the NCC AP testing, once we receive the application and payment AUSAP will schedule a seat at the next testing. Unfortunately, this is a national test that occurs the same time nationwide. We do not have any say on the firm testing dates or deadlines. It is your responsibility to keep track of the test dates and to contact Professional Testing Corporation at (212) 356-0660 if you have not received an eligibility notice confirming your test date approximately 3 weeks before the testing period begins. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your test results to be provided by mail.

(Students may test at the testing center of their choice.Locations and testing information.  You will receive notification of Pass/Fail approx. 4 to 6-weeks after completion of the test.)
